Job Summary:


The Radiology / Cardiology Cath Lab Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role includes assisting with PCI procedures, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology studies while ensuring patient safety and procedural accuracy. The technician collaborates with the cardiac care team to deliver high-quality care and supports rhythm interpretation as preferred. A minimum of one year of experience and relevant certifications are required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional treatments such as PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rota, impella, IABP, CTO).
• Support structural heart procedures including TAVR, balloon valvuloplasty, Watchman device implantation.
• Participate in electrophysiology studies including EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, and BIV and pacemaker implants.
• Prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patient status and assist in rhythm interpretation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards using EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary cardiac care team for optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist-Registered) or CCI RCIS (Cardiovascular Credentialing International - Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification.
• WA RT (Washington Radiologic Technologist) or CIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) license.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac catheterization lab or related setting.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with rhythm interpretation.

Special Considerations:

• On-call requirement: 1 call day per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
• Travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for travel contracts.
• No acceptance of pending licenses.
• Strict adherence to return-to-office (RTO) policies as specified in submittal.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts, from 06:30 to 17:00.
