Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Clinic
• Specialty: Pediatric Ambulatory and Outpatient Nursing

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,270–$2,390
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 10, 2026

• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, with possible rotating Saturday morning shifts
• Weekly Hours: 38 guaranteed hours; clinic holiday hours are excluded from the guarantee

Pediatric Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado
• At least 5 years of pediatric clinic or ambulatory outpatient nursing experience
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
• Current influenza vaccination; exemptions are not accepted
• Recent experience with CLIA-waived testing, pediatric vaccinations, and blood draws
• Ability to meet applicable Colorado CAPS registration requirements
• Strong communication, organization, and family-centered pediatric care skills

Pediatric Clinic RN Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in an ambulatory outpatient clinic
• Perform focused pediatric assessments, patient education, care coordination, and follow-up
• Administer pediatric vaccines in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Perform blood draws and CLIA-waived point-of-care testing
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team in both English and Spanish
• Document assessments, interventions, test results, and patient education accurately
• Support a safe, organized, and welcoming pediatric clinic environment
• Follow infection prevention, medication safety, and pediatric outpatient care standards
