Logistics Assistant

The Logistics Assistant will be responsible to assist the Logistics and customs members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Utilize internal and external systems to gather information, update status, and create reports.
• Ensure effective and timely payment of invoices for freight, charges, and other services.
• Create/proof documents for customs clearance.
• Assist with documentation for the warehouse.
• Help with Paper Work.

Requirements

• Strong organizing and time management skills.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills required. Spanish is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally effectively with internal and external parties.
• Analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills. Experience with intermodal logistics systems.
• Working knowledge of international ocean freight processes strongly preferred.
