Calpine Corporation seeks an Operator Technician III to support safe, reliable power generation across its modern fleet of natural gas-fired and geothermal plants. In this on-site role, you will operate and monitor plant equipment and control systems, perform routine inspections, troubleshoot operational issues, and support minor maintenance to maximize reliability and efficiency. You will follow strict safety and environmental procedures, respond to alarms and abnormal conditions, and assist with startups, shutdowns, and emergency response. Working closely with maintenance and engineering teams, you will contribute to data-driven decisions, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives that advance Calpine’s cleaner energy and operational excellence goals.
